What’s cooler than being nominated for an Academy Award at the age of 14?
Staring in Pitch Perfect 2 and 3, duh.
Okay, okay, so the Academy Award thing might stand above everything else (so far!) but Hailee Steinfeld is a singer, songwriter, and actress that’s making big news across the universe right now.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe, that is.

Who Is Kate Bishop?
I’m not a comic book reader, so this was the first question I asked. Kate Bishop who?
Kate Bishop is a teen with a tough family history; her mother is dead and her father is a criminal. Inspired by her favorite Avenger, Hawkeye, she links up with the Young Avengers and takes up the Hawkeye mantel.
She’s got skills, y’all: swordplay, archery, martial arts and brains to match. Once a victim herself, she vowed to learn how to fight back so it wouldn’t happen again.
The Disney+ Marvel series is bringing us a whole new complement of heroes to learn and love, and Kate has moved up that list for me.
Adding Kate into the canon of the MCU also means I’m on the lookout for more Young Avengers- and I am here. for. it!
