Age Rating of Amsterdam: Is It Safe For Teens When It Comes To Sex, Romance, and Nudity?

There is romance and kissing, but nothing is racier than that.

For the most part, Amsterdam is clean and ok for kids to see.

Violence and Gore: Is Amsterdam Too Scary For Kids Under 17?

There’s violence and gore in this one. A surprising amount.

There’s an autopsy scene where we get up close and personal with organs, some war injuries that come with a lot of blood, and death, and murders occur.

A woman is run over by a car in a horrific manner.

War scenes are brutal.

While the show is never particularly scary, it is gruesome and gross at times.

Parents Guide: Is Amsterdam Appropriate For Kids Under 17?

As always you know your kids best.

If blood and gore aren’t deal breakers, then there are far worse movies from a content perspective that kids could watch.

We think kids as young as 13 could see Amsterdam if their parents don’t mind language or blood.

We don’t actually go so far as to recommend Amsterdam for most kids because, frankly, it lacks a lot.

There are moments that pay off and some humourous lines that got a chuckle, but overall, it’s convoluted and slow and not what the trailer promised.

Kids probably wouldn’t be happy if they wasted the time or money on this one, no matter how much they love Taylor Swift.
