About Magic Mike’s Last Dance
“Magic” Mike Lane (Tatum) takes to the stage again after a lengthy hiatus, following a business deal that went bust, leaving him broke and taking bartender gigs in Florida.
For what he hopes will be one last hurrah, Mike heads to London with a wealthy socialite (Hayek Pinault) who lures him with an offer he can’t refuse…and an agenda all her own.
With everything on the line, once Mike discovers what she truly has in mind, will he—and the roster of hot new dancers he’ll have to whip into shape—be able to pull it off?

Age Rating of Magic Mike’s Last Dance: Is It Safe For Teens When It Comes To Sex, Romance, and Nudity?
There’s no actual nudity in Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
We know, we were kinda surprised as well.
You will see men without their shirts on, primarily during dance sequences. They do remove clothes in a stripping fashion, but there is no back or frontal nudity in the movie.
Characters kiss and have sex and are shown in bed together without any nudity.
The dance sequences are simulated sex throughout the movie, however. And it’s pretty graphic and intense on a sexual scale.
A variety of sexual positions play out as the dancers create a steamy show.
So while you don’t actually see sex happening on stage, your teens will basically see sex happening on stage.
Violence and Gore: Is Too Scary For Kids Under 17?
There is no violence or gore in the movie.
A woman says she will slap a man if he takes things too far as a joke, and he repeats the phrase later also as a joke.
Is Magic Mike’s Last Dance Ok For Kids: Mature Topics
Characters are seen drinking alcohol and claim to be drunk.
The main storyline is about women feeling empowered in life, and the sexual dance show finale is the means to sharing that message of empowerment.
Age Rating of Magic Mike’s Last Dance: What Ages Can Really Watch This One?
Magic Mike’s Last Dance is rated R for mature content, sexual simulations, and language.
Parents Guide: Is Magic Mike’s Last Dance Appropriate For Kids Under 17?
If your kids have seen the previous Magic Mike movies, this one is possibly a little “safer” than those. There’s less nudity and sex, anyway.
However, the show is still heavy on simulated sex scenes in the form of dance and that might play into how comfortable your family is with this kind of content.
We think ages 16 and up could possibly handle Magic Mike’s Last Dance if your family doesn’t shy away from sexual content or have a problem hearing swears and salty language.
If you have a dancer who really wants to see this one, we’d suggest screening it ahead of time to make sure it doesn’t go too far before allowing your kids to watch it.
