Language
There is some language in this movie and it’s throughout the whole movie.
With PG-13 movies, there always seems to be such a wide variety of swears and curse words that you just never can tell.
While not the worst PG-13 movie, it may give you pause if language is on your list of “hard no’s” for younger children.
In Transformers Rise of the Beasts, your kids will hear:
- middle finger usage
- sh!t,
- @ss
- OMG

There is no sex, romance or nudity in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
Violence and Gore: Is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) Too Scary For Kids Under 13?
There are some moments here, including a jump scare that totally got me.
Most of the action is on par with what you expect from a Transformers movie. If you’ve seen the others, then you can expect more of that.
Robot-on-robot violence, as they try to kill each other, happens throughout the movie.
Explosions, guns, knives and blade weapons, and hand-to-hand fighting are seen, with some intense and violent moments.
There are some blood and cuts shown in the movie, but it’s not very gory on that level, especially since most of the characters are robot-type creatures.
Your sensitive children may find this movie to be a bit too much for them.

There isn’t any drug or alcohol use in the movie.
There are deaths of characters in the movie that may be emotional for some watchers. Grief and loss are going to be felt and are fairly important themes in the plot.
There are scenes that discuss a child’s illness and some treatments that could bring about questions from your kids.
While there isn’t any sexual content, there are some suggestive references in the dialogue. It will likely not be picked up by most kids, but just know there are a few lines that are not totally kid-friendly (‘you’ve been inside me’ – said by a transformer for example).
Transformers 6 Age Rating: What Ages Can Really Watch This One?
Transformers Rise of the Beasts is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and language.
Parents Guide: Is Transformers Rise of the Beasts Age Rating Appropriate For Kids Under 13?
As always you know your child best.
