If you want the most violent Christmas movie of all time: here you go.

But weirdly, it still has heart enough to count as a holiday movie thanks to David Harbour’s excellent Santa Claus.

In this movie you have a little bit of everything: a character is stabbed in the eye with a star- and then they are executed.

You have hand-to-hand combat, guns, knives, stabbings, people catching on fire, decapitations, explosions, and a ton of puke and blood including on Santa’s beard… whew.

It’s a lot on the violence and gore scale with some scenes making even a seasoned horror lover squirm.
