All Good Things! Walking the Frozen 2 Red Carpet
I’ll go ahead and say it: I love a red carpet experience. Like, really L-O-V-E it. There’s nothing quite as glamorous and exciting as seeing your favorite filmmakers and stars glitzed and glammed up to celebrate their newest film. Even better than watching a red carpet happen is when YOU get to claim a moment on the carpet yourself! What was walking the Frozen 2 red carpet like? As Olaf says: All good things!

All Good Things! Walking the Frozen 2 Red Carpet
I’ve been blessed as an entertainment writer to do some pretty cool things. Interviews, set visits, advanced screenings, and Hollywood premieres to name a few.
For a fangirl at heart like myself, working in this industry is still full of fabulous experiences and delights.
But my favorite experience has to be switching out my yoga pants & hoodie for a sleek red carpet look- and taking a turn on the red carpet myself.
I can be a girl too, from time to time.

Where Was The Frozen 2 Red Carpet?
On Hollywood Boulevard, of course!
The Frozen 2 premiere happened inside the Dolby Theater (home of the Oscars!) on November 7, 2019.
But before we went inside to see the movie, we traveled down the red carpet and took it all in.
What I Wore on The Frozen 2 Red Carpet
So this is a fun story. (Narrator- is it, is it really?)
And I’m going to be super real here- not all red carpet looks work.
But mine TOTALLY rocked… until it didn’t. Ahem. I’ll get to that in just a minute, however.
My look was completely out of my norm. My friend Tania loves to rock a pantsuit on the carpets, but I never quite convinced myself it would work for me. Until my fashion-forward friend Julia wore this gorgeous red look to Betrayal on Broadway– and I was obsessed!
So what does a good friend do? She shops her friend’s closets. And Julia popped this in the mail so I could wear it in LA.
- Red Pantsuit From Lane Bryant (and Julia haaa)
- Black clutch from Amazon (affiliate link)
- Black strappy sandals (Amazon)
- Black geometric statement necklace
- Black geometric bracelet
A smokin’ best friend is an awesome accessory, so I suggest you get one that rocks the red carpet too!

Anna, Elsa and Olaf Were On The Red Carpet Too!
This carpet was a lot of fun and I noticed a ton of families and kids on the carpet.
Which was great because there were some special friends they got to meet!
Olaf, Anna and Elsa were all meeting with the Disney execs, stars, and filmmakers as they headed toward the theater. The smiles were genuine- I mean, who doesn’t love warm hugs?

Here are a few more pictures from the red carpet and the after-party.
And yeah, I’m going to be *that* girl and share some selfies with celebrities.
Pictures or it didn’t happen, amirite?!

About That Red Jumpsuit…
I mentioned that this look worked… until it didn’t up above.
Here’s the true story of a red carpet wardrobe malfunction.
Dear Janet Jackson, I get it now.
One reason I shied away from the jumpsuit idea in the past was the need to hit the bathroom. After 5 babies, you can say my needs are more frequent than others. Gotta love motherhood!
Anyhooo… the jumpsuit got me safely down the carpet, and then I decided to hit the women’s room before the movie started. And that’s when my night fell apart.
Or at least my zipper did. Welp.
Good thing I had friends with safety pins (bless them) and a wrap to hide the fact that tbe back of this jumpsuit was wide open.
WIDE OPEN Y’ALL. I was thankful for the Spanx (as always) cause it at least made me feel like I wasn’t totally exposed.
The rest of my night was spent like this: it’s a good thing the cold never bothered me anyway!
Ah well, just another adventure in Patty the Fangirl’s life!

Great recap…and I did wonder why the pics you were posting in your stories, etc, suddenly included the black wrap. I just assumed Elsa was turning on the cold 😉❄️❤️
