There was an idea- Jane knows this- called the No-Guilt Fangirls Podcast. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable women to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight for fandoms that we never could.”
Did anyone else read that in Samuel L. Jackson’s voice? No?
Just me… ok, try reading it again cause that’s totally what I was going for there.
Y’all, I’m so excited to announce that this blog now has its own podcast.

Welcome to the No-Guilt Fangirls Podcast!
Insert fangirl squee HERE.
Inspired and nudged along by my friend Jane (who you’ll meet on an upcoming show) I decided to take the leap and start recording last week. I uploaded the trailer of the podcast on Friday and off we go!
A podcast trailer, for those new to the lingo – like me, ahem- is a basic “here’s what we’re doing, hope you’ll come along for the ride” kind of thing.
I won’t lie- this is out of my comfort zone as far as knowing what I’m actually doing. Like, I Google the crap out of everything because it’s all basically another language.
Or bug my friend Joe of the Disney Deciphered podcast (which you should totally listen to since they are on the list of best Disney podcasts!).
There were some blood, sweat and tears poured into that tiny 3 minutes of work, but in the end, I hope it will all be worth it.

Here’s one of my favorite episodes so far: the making of a new Star Wars Fangirl.
I’m also sending each episode over to my YouTube channel, so if you need to stream it from there it should be easy to find in #alltheplaces.
And if anyone is interested in a “how to start your own podcast tutorial,” let me know. It’s all super fresh in my mind and I’m happy to write down the steps I took to get this sucker off the ground and on the air!’
Podcast Topics and Future Episodes
The idea is pretty simple.
Women (and guys- we love the fanboys too!) talking about the things they love in pop culture- freely fangirling away. Do you have a fandom you want to be discussed?
Make sure you leave a review and a comment on iTunes and we’ll add it into the rotation.
Here’s a peek at some of the episodes we’re working on:
- Game of Thrones: Bend the Knee and Fangirl Away!
- Veronica Mars: You’re a Marshmallow (and we are too!)
- Fangirling Runs in the Family
- You Did This To Me: How The Marvel Cinematic Universe Took Over My Life
- Stranger Things and the People Who Love Them
- Aladdin’s New Groove
- Female Fans in a WWE Kind of World
- Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge– a planet worth fangirling!
I’m super excited to share this adventure with you and hope you’re ready to fangirl along with us!
