Opening Day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World
Lining up in the middle of the morning to be the first into a new experience is probably not for everyone. I get that. But it is for us! This is the kind of thing the No-Guilt Fangirls thrive on! We attended the opening day of Star Stars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World and had an absolute blast. From Bridgetown to Batuu, here’s what went down on the first day.
Opening Day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World
Bright Suns and Rising Moons, Travelers!
Fangirling the opening day- of anything- takes a special kind of person. And we are those “special” people that love that kind of thing.
From the opening of the latest Marvel movie to the Black Friday rush to opening Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World. WE LOVE IT!
But a great time was had and memories were made. There’s only one opening day, y’all, and we were there for it. As Disney and Star Wars fangirls, this was huge.
Til the Spires!
Jane, Heather, and Jill are my guests today- along with a stop in by a security guard. Because of course.

Guys. This was bananapants.
As Hanz says, I love crazy! And it’s a good thing. Because this was legit crazy.
We were up at an insane hour and standing in line with hundreds (that grew to thousands) of our “closest” friends. And we loved every second of it. Honestly, at no point did I think it wasn’t worth it.
But that’s how I fangirl!
Here are a few pictures of the whole experience.
