Do Some JoBros Homework: Listen To Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023) Song List Before The Kids Go

The JoBros have a TON of songs, but and they can’t sing them all for you at the concert. Though they are really trying with this concert!

So we think listening to the setlist is key to getting your kids ready for what they’ll hear live.

Parents Guide To The Jonas Brothers: Do The JoBros Cuss In Their Songs?

Over time their music, style, and lyrics have evolved.

The JoBros do indeed cuss in some songs, but they try to sing the cleaner versions for the large stadium concerts. For this concert, the opening band also sings swear words (and has one line saying “bag of d!cks”)

While that’s great and all, the crowd of adults around you at the concert may not keep it so clean. So keep that in mind.

A casual radio listener may be surprised at a few sexually explicit lyrics, so take a listen to the songs on the set list to be prepared for what’s to come.

Any Other Concerns For Kids At The Jonas Brothers Concerts?

In some of the “secret” shows and smaller shows, they have been known to drink alcohol on stage.

Nick actually owns a tequila brand! But it’s not likely to see drinking on stage during this very long concert.

The brothers aren’t known to be raunchy or lewd either, but we’ve seen some hip thrusts (hi, Joe) so know there could be small, suggestive moments.

Arrive Early To The Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023)

Check your stadium for opening hours and be prepared to spend some time on your feet waiting for the concert.

As I mentioned, the JoBros go on stage every night between 8 and 8:15 pm, so you don’t want to be late for their entrance!

What To Bring To Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023)

Since you’ll be there for a long time- and maybe even longer in the parking lot afterward!- go ahead and use this list to prep what to take to the concert.

Friendship bracelets and lightup bracelets at the Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023)

Bring and Trade Friendship Bracelets: Parents Guide to The Tour (JoBros)

Are people trading friendship bracelets at the Jonas Brothers concerts? YES!

Fans are making bracelets and trading before the shows as a way to create and foster community.

The friendship bracelet thing all started (re-started- us olds know they’ve been around for a long time!) with Taylor’s concerts and we’ve seen it continue with Pink and now the JoBros.

Most of these trades are happening in the parking lot before the show starts, but we’ve seen lots of people trading with fellow JoBros fans in their seat sections.

Some of creating bracelets with full song lyrics, and some are creating them with the titles of the songs or albums. Some of being even more creative and niched- we’ve seen some wild ones out there!

But this is a friendly community activity that will help your kiddo feel connected to other fans at the concert.

Don’t be afraid to ask to trade with others or to gift a bracelet to someone!

To avoid any issue with security and trying to bring in a bag of bracelets, go ahead and plan to wear them when you walk in. After that, walking up and exchanging with a fellow fan will be a simple process!

You can buy a friendship bracelet making kit here.

Stadium Bag Policies

Each location will have a different bag policy. Some require TOTALLY clear bags only (NFL stadiums).

So check with your location before assuming your normal purse will work.

Size matters!

Make sure you measure your bag before you attempt to bring it in, as some stadiums will refuse entry to larger bags.

List of Things To Bring to Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023)

  • portable battery for your phone (plus phone cord!) Maybe consider multiple chargers depending on how long you’ll be at the stadium
  • empty water bottle (can fill inside stadium)
  • completely clear bag if an NFL Stadium (12 x 6 x 12 is usually the largest size allowed)
  • snacks for the car after the concert. You’ll be waiting in the parking lot for up to 3 hours, so be prepared with some post-Beyonce snacks.
  • poncho or rain gear
  • Concert Earplugs. We’ve seen a lot of younger kids really miserable because the concert is just too loud for them. Consider bringing earplugs along just in case.
  • sunglasses for outdoor concerts
  • hand sanitizer (always!)
  • Something to do while waiting for the concert to start that’s NOT your phone. Cards or a book might help pass the time and save that phone battery.

Items Not Allowed At Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023)

  • backpacks
  • camera bags
  • diaper bags
  • umbrellas
  • seat cushions (unless medically necessary)

Pack Snacks In The Car For Post-Concert

The best tip we’ve seen for this guide to Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023) is to pack your patience for after the tour: and a snack bag for the parking lot waiting.

There have been reports of sitting in traffic for 1-3 hours post-JoBros concerts to leave the parking lot. If that happens to you, you’ll appreciate planning ahead with a small cooler of snacks for the wait.

What To Wear To Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023): Comfortable Shoes

Plenty of concertgoers wear jeans and tees for the Jonas Brothers The Tour.

But… with the whole Taylor Swift and Beyonce dress-to-impress phenomenon, we’ve seen quite a few pictures and videos on TikTok where themes from different JoBros eras are being represented.

So go ahead and dress up with your kids and embrace everything Jonas Brothers!

Think of this as an event, and not just a musical concert. And go all out.

Our number one suggestion is to dress in something you are comfortable wearing for a long time. Because you will be at this experience for at least 4 hours, but it is potentially an all-day event.

But make sure whatever you do, you wear comfortable shoes to the concert.

We cannot stress enough how much you will be on your feet when they go on stage and you will wish you left those high heels at home!

So comfortable shoes are a MUST.

We know, we know, the cute boots with the heel are tempting.

But unless you’ve broken them in, please reconsider. You and your kiddo may regret that choice by the end of the night!

Make A Plan To Get Ready Before The Show: Parents Guide To The Jonas Brothers Concerts

Your hotel room may not be ready, but you’ll want to start getting dressed for the show.

What’s a young JoBros fan to do?

First, check with your hotel. Many are opening ballrooms or conference rooms for pre-concert prep if the rooms are not available yet.

We’ve seen lobbies full of concertgoers getting their glam on- so you will not be alone if that’s what you have to do.

But you might also want to plan on arriving a day earlier OR even consider what you can do in the car. This may include bringing portable car chargers for your straighteners or curling wands.

Merchandise Purchases

Merch is a VERY big deal for The Jonas Brothers Tour.

If your child is interested in the most popular items, you’ll want to arrive early. Like stupid early.

As early as the parking lot opens early so you can get in line right away.

Items DO sell out and the lines will get long.

The Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023) Merchandise Tip: Once Inside the Stadium, GO UP.

Most people will stop at the first merch tent or truck or line they see.

The smartest of the concertgoers will have read this guide to the JoBros Tour and will know that more merch is being sold on the higher concourses.

Go ahead and take that elevator early and head to a higher floor. There usually are more merchandise options up there- and most have ZERO lines.

You can also pop out during a song to hit the merchandise lines- which is a great plan for parents who feel comfortable leaving their older teens alone for a bit.

Loud Noises And Explosion Warning: Fireworks and Flashing Lights At Jonas Brothers The Tour.

For sensitive kiddos, please be aware that there are pyrotechnic moments and loud noises during the concert.

We put earplugs on the list of things to take for a reason!- HUGE thing to take away from this parents guide to the Jonas Brothers concert.

Stand For As Much Of Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023) As Possible: Parents Take Note!

The crowd will stand for the entire concert. These fans are PASSIONATE about the JoBros and have been to every concert for forever and won’t miss a second of the guys on stage.

If you have a shorter child going with you, be prepared for them to be blocked or need to be held to see the stage or screens.

JoBros fans will not sit for the performance (at least not for most of it). If you have an aisle seat, you might make out a bit better but those in the middle of the row could be blocked from the view.

Remember when we said to dress comfortably? This is why.

We Have Seats Behind The Stage. Is This A Terrible View For the Jonas Brother’s The Tour Concert?

It’s not! They have a catwalk that they take turns using during the concert, giving fans seated behind the stage some attention.

There are also screens in the stadium, including one behind the stage.

When Can You Pee During Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023): Parents Guide To The Jonas Brothers?

This might be the most important part of the Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert guide.

There’s an intermission at the Jonas Brothers Tour! Intermission starts right after the song Burning Up.

A countdown timer on the screens lets you know how much time you’ll have (5-10 minutes max).

So take advantage of that and know when it coming so you can pop out to the bathrooms before the lines get long.

In some of their newer songs, sex, and marijuana are also mentioned (Summer in the Hamptons and Americana).

These songs are played back to back, so if this is a concerning set of lyrics for your kids, this might also be a good time to go.

Parents Guide To The Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023) Final Tips

Are the Jonas Brothers concerts appropriate for kids?

For the most part, we’d say yes, kids ages 6 and up could attend a Jonas Brothers concert. But bring ear protection and prep them for lines, standing, and loud noises.

Pack your patience, and leave the negativity at home.

This is one big, inclusive, fangirling and fanboying event.

The Jonas Brothers fans are fanatical about their love of these guys. And as we’ve noted many times… it’s BIG.

This means many people are trying to enjoy the same great band. Most stadiums are set up to handle large crowds, but keep an eye and ear out for security instructions during the event.

And know that you won’t get home quickly (even if you plan on taking public transportation- the trains and buses are running, but there are going to be tons of people utilizing the same modes).

Talk with your kids in advance so they know what to expect. We’d also suggest watching some videos (Tik Tok and Instagram Reels are great bite-sized moments for this).

We hope this parents guide to the Jonas Brothers The Tour Concert (2023) helps with your concert plans!
