Starbucks Moves On The Iron Throne
First of all, last night’s episode of The Game of Thrones had some -ish to it. No real spoilers here except one: Starbucks is in play for the Iron Throne. “
We’re down to 2 episodes left and it’s not clear who’s got the upper hand.
Though Cersei made a pretty strong argument last night. Ahem. Without saying too much: she’s not going down easily. If at all.
Dany has her work cut out for her, which is probably why our Queen needed her coffee in Winterfell.
Starbucks Makes Its Move For the Iron Throne
Yup, you read that right. This shouldn’t surprise anyone but there’s a Starbucks in Winterfell.
I mean, it’s cold up there it totally makes sense that Ned had a barista or two on staff.
After the Battle of Winterfell, I’d need a 4-shot espresso too. At the least
Eagle-eye GOT watchers spied this cup left on the table during filming
Oops.
Zooming in it becomes clear just who’s to blame, too.
Look, Dany, I love coffee, too, but don’t trust the green cup invaders from the west!
This is a power move to set you up to take the fall.
They’ve even moved into the opening credits.
I’m hoping Sansa ends up on the throne somehow but don’t want to see Dany go down via her caffeine habit!
We’ve lost too many too young that way in my generation.
Just adding this one onto my list of Game of Thrones memes to keep my nerdy love going long after the final episode ends.
I’ve got my eye on you, Starbucks.
