Yup, I’m going there this moring. Because LOOK AT THESE PICTURES. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker red carpet premiere went down last night and, honestly, I’m not sure there has been a more red carpet-ier red carpet ever. Come obsess with me as we start the goodbye tour for one of the biggest franchises ever.
The Rise Of Skywalker Red Carpet Premiere
There’s going to be time to break the movie down, to dissect the whole arc of the franchise, to freak out over the plot points. Oh, it’s coming.
Today we’re just going to watch and celebrate as one of the world’s biggest franchises takes it’s last red carpet walk. At least, the last Star Wars red carpet for a very long time.

And I won’t lie: I’m obsessed with the way these stars turned out for this one!
I watched live on the red carpet last night over social media. Look, my Force ghost hasn’t quite gotten the gist of transporting me to the red carpets just yet, but that’s where Twitter coverage comes in clutch.
I might be reading into things but why – oh, tell me WHY- did Daisy Ridley show up in a smokin’ red dress? Is that a subliminal message to the rest of us? A small warning that things maybe… maybe… maaayyybbbeee don’t go the way we think it will?
And Adam Driver was sporting a blue tux. Adam in Blue, Daisy in Red. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
Probably nothing, but hey, that’s where my fangirl brain goes.
Anyone else jump to conclusions and create scenarios on the off chance they can later say I KNEW IT! I cannot be the only one!
Alright, let’s drool over some of these gorgeous shots from the World Premiere of The Rise of Skywalker.
