Is Venom 2 Safe For Kids: The Sex & Nudity

Let There Be Carnage Parent Review: The Violence and Gore

Well, Venom and Carnage: the names say it all, amirite?

There is a fair amount of things blowing up, ripping apart, being thrown around.

But really not as much gore or blood as you might think. There’s really only one head eating scene (that’s super quick and, well, called for maybe?) that probably won’t hit kids too hard.

Is Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage Too Scary For Kids?

This movie is incredibly silly and full of nonsense, so we can’t see how many kids would take it seriously enough to be scared.

However, both Venom and Carnage are creepy and terrifying alien creatures who are also violent by nature. If your kids are good with distinguishing comic characters from real life, then Venom 2 shouldn’t be too scary for them to watch.

Older kids 10 and up should be fine with the level of scares provided by this movie.

The quotes from Venom 2 and one-liners might take the edge off any potential terror they would typically encounter.

There are some moments to note, however.

One character is on death row and is, in fact, seen in the death chamber. The same character tells how he killed his grandma, mother, and implies he killed a dog.

All this is told through sketched cartoons but it might be enough to scare or worry a sensitive child.
