My favorite panel of all the panels at D23 Expo has been the Live-Action movies. In previous years, we had separate Live-Action and Animation Panels. At the 2019 D23 Expo, the movies were all represented in one panel: Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Disney, Marvel Studios and Star Wars.

Okay, this totally made me cry. They showed us some beautiful scenes including the one where Mulan’s father says he will fight because he has no sons. WEEP!
She is one bad-A warrior and I can’t wait to see this one in March!

Southeast Asia inspired film- fantasy adventure.
Disney movie plus Hong Kong action film- takes place in a reimagined earth: Kumandra.
It’s been invaded and Raya is a lone warrior looking for the last dragon to save her world.
We got a clip and at the end the movie makers told us who’s voices we just heard.
Cassie Steel is Raya and AWKWAFINA is Sisu the Dragon.
Both are here on stage telling us about their characters. And I love Awkwafina and she is making so many moves. The year of Awkwafina is happening.
