Age Rating of Anyone But You: Is It Safe For Teens When It Comes To Sex, Romance, and Nudity?
Anyone But You is a romantic comedy, so of course, you will have some romance happen.
The plot centers around a couple, Bea and Ben, thrown together at their friend and sister’s wedding, Hallie and Claudia.
The twist is that the couple has met before, and it didn’t end well.
There is sex and nudity in Anyone But You. Your teens will see a heterosexual couple having sex and multiple partners kissing (same-sex and heterosexual).
Nudity includes topless women and men, naked butts, and one quick tip of a penis shown in a comedic fashion. They may not even notice it because it’s just the tip with no other part of the penis visible… but it’s definitely a penis.
There are a few comedic moments with nudity, similar to what you may have seen in The Lost City.

Violence and Gore: Is Anyone But You Too Scary For Kids Under 17?
There’s nothing scary in this movie.
No blood, no gore, nothing on that level of concern for teens.
Is Anyone But You Ok For Kids: Mature Topics
A Gen Z law student’s complicated romantic life and life choices will resonate with teens.
Navigating old relationships that didn’t work out and trying to find new paths are probably the most profound points to the plot.
There is also a mention of a dead parent, but it’s really not a focal point of the movie.
Parents Guide: Is Anyone But You Appropriate For Kids Under 17?
As always, you know your kids best.
This movie is rated R for good reasons. If language and nudity are no-gos for your teens, then they need to stay home from this one.
If a little bit of boob, butt, and sex isn’t concerning- and you don’t mind all the language mentioned above!- then your teens will probably enjoy this Romcom with 2 of their favorite actors.
Overall, it’s a fun, sweet, and tender comedy with a side of sass and raunch for those that love that kind of thing.
